With over twenty-five years of experience in the IT industry, Doug has held a variety of software development roles. These include developer, development team lead, product manager, senior project manager, and development director. He has led organizations developing and testing software using a range of technologies including AJAX, Java, and C++ . Platforms have ranged from large IBM mainframes to real-time process control devices.
Doug understands the value of developing both the people and the processes to better enable an organization to deliver on its business commitments. Using elements of agile process, Doug has assisted software development organizations to become more effective and efficient in delivering on their business commitments. Doug also coaches project managers in all aspects of the project management profession.
Doug is both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) with a Computer Science degree from the University of Manitoba.
